Wireframe / Product Design

Wireframes are simple block diagrams that show the placement of elements in a user interface and demonstrate the intended layout and functionality of a solution. They are typically free from graphic design features like colors, typography or actual images and try to answer the following questions instead:

  • What elements will be displayed in the UI?
  • How will the elements be organized?
  • How will the interface work?
  • How does the user interact with the application / website?

Documentation / Tech Specs

Project documentation is an important part of project management, whether you are using waterfall or agile approaches. It is substantiated by the essential two functions of documentation: to make sure that project requirements are fulfilled and to establish traceability with regard to what has been done, who has done it, and when it has been done.

Specifications may take several forms. They can be a straightforward listing of functional attributes, they can be diagrams or schematics of functional relationships or flow logic, or something in the middle. Futurist Labs can author these documents for your project to ensure a structured project from start to ongoing maintenance, to future development.

Dedicated Teams

Dedicated teams are the employees of a partner company that work exclusively on the client’s projects and have a tight collaboration with the client’s developers and testers. Dedicated teams are a solution for companies that want to extend their in-house software development capacity or need to add specific knowledge to their teams, but don’t have access to. The client may decide to manage the team from his or her side, or to assign the service provider’s project manager to coordinate the communication process. This model is usually used for long-term projects, where requirements are unclear and scope changes frequently.
